RKC A-License Strength Test

Heavy Turkish Get Up

The candidate performs a complete Turkish Get Up with a kettlebell, the weight of which is based on the official weight chart
(Guideline: Men = ½ body weight, Women = ⅓ body weight),
from the ground to standing and back down in a controlled manner – using either hand.

Technique Criteria:
❒ All positions are clearly distinguishable and executed in a controlled manner
❒ The overhead position is held stable for at least one second
❒ The lockout is maintained – elbow extended, wrist neutral
❒ The shoulder remains "packed" throughout the entire movement
❒ No unstable transitions or collapsing joint positions
❒ The kettlebell is controlled placed down at the end – no dropping


Heavy Military Press

The candidate performs a clean one-arm clean and a strict military press from the rack position to lockout with a kettlebell (according to the weight chart) – using either hand.

A slight lateral lean for stabilization is permissible.
The kettlebell is then controlled placed down.

Technique Criteria:
❒ One-arm clean with a clean transition into the rack position
❒ Rack start: bicep against the rib cage, fist below the chin
❒ No preparatory movement: no dip, no swing
❒ Torso and legs remain stable – no pushing or bending back
❒ Full lockout: elbow extended, wrist neutral
❒ Paused lockout: hold stable for at least 1 second
❒ Controlled return to the rack position
❒ Placing down through clean – no dropping or falling


RKC Snatch Test

The candidate performs a total of 100 valid snatches with the specified snatch test kettlebell (according to the weight chart) within 5 minutes.
Repetitions from both arms are counted together.

Hand switches and placing down are allowed as often as desired.
Switch swings are permissible.

Counting:
A repetition is counted when it starts with a hike pass of the same hand and ends in a stable lockout position.
Hand-to-hand switches are allowed – but: Upward switches = No Count
Only repetitions counted aloud are valid. Invalid repetitions will be marked with "No Count!".


Allowed Aids:

  • Chalk
  • Tape
  • Dragon Skins™
  • Thin cotton gloves

Not allowed:

  • Weightlifting belts
  • Wrist wraps
  • Thick padded gloves
  • Other supportive equipment

Test passed if:

❒ 100 valid repetitions are completed within 5 minutes
❒ No more than 2 "No Counts"
❒ The kettlebell may be placed down as often and for as long as desired – not thrown

A repetition is only valid if:

❒ The snatch is executed smoothly upward and downward – without an intermediate position in the rack
❒ The free hand does not touch the body or kettlebell – no bracing or assistance
❒ It is snatched – no military press or push press
❒ In lockout: extended wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, and knee – clearly visible stability
